One of the best boat trips ever! Harold and Alex were so knowledgeable and welcoming. We saw a family of sea eagles, red deer including two young stags who had swam out to a rocky outcrop, and SO MANY seals and cormorants. We were lucky with the weather and had great views of the distilleries and castle ruins.

What an afternoon we had! Everyone on board caught multiple fish, and the guys were so accommodating and patient with all our questions and finding the best spots to escape the weather as much as possible to enable us to catch another lot!! Alex and Adrian were so friendly and knowledgeable about the island...lovely fellows...and the drams were forthcoming!

This is an exceptional visitor experience. The local knowledge of the operators is vast and they share it in a way that is warm, friendly and inclusive. Nature played its part, laying on a sea Eagle, seals, deer and goats. Our party included a ninety-one year old who has some limits on his mobility. Harold and Alec were kind, helpful and patient and the boat itself has been designed and built with accessibility in mind. The seafood served up when we stopped and anchored was absolutely first rate.

Excellent trip - would highly recommend. There was great communication ahead of the trip and the trip itself was really well delivered. We were a family of 5 and the kids loved spotting the animals (we saw lots of seals and deer amongst others) and we loved learning the history of Islay. This is the second time I’ve taken the tour and I’ve learnt new things each time!

I had an amazing boat trip with Isla Sea Adventures to Mull of Oa. It was a great way to see the dramatic coastline of Mull of Oa and bird colonies. Fortunately had good weather to go towards the Soldier's Rock. Gus and Hannah were very engaging and knowledgeable. They made the trip very enjoyable.

We had a fantastic time on the wildlife tour. Gus and Hannah made a great team, we saw loads of wildlife and learnt a lot! Great to explore Islay from the water.
