Although we love our wee island, it is nice to get off and explore the ‘big city’ every once in a while.
And our team had a fantastic weekend up in Inverness!
We made the most of heading up north and stayed over in Inverness for two nights!
Night one, we headed to the famous MacGregors Bar with the wonderful Feis Ile committee. Great food and great company! Oh and some Cèilidh dancing too! Safe to say some were more pleased than others about the dancing.
The next day was filled with lots of food and lots of shopping before we all headed back to the hotel to get glammed up for the big event!
Then night two, the awards! What a fantastic evening spent at the Kingsmill Hotel! The food, entertainment, company and atmosphere was spectacular! Although we were runners up this time around, it was amazing just to be a finalist at the first award we have ever applied for! Congratulations to In Your Element for the win!! And a massive congratulations to the Feis Ile for their win too, bringing it home for Islay too!!
We are looking forward to what the future holds! Wish us luck!
