Our boats are captained by experienced skippers with a wealth of knowledge of the seas around Islay. All vessels comply with MCA safety and licensing regulations, carrying all the necessary safety equipment required onboard. This includes lifejackets, life vests, lifebuoys and fire extinguishers.
Each of our boats can carry up to 12 passengers and two crew maximum.
Iain Og, also known as ‘The Yellow Boat’, is a large 42 ft boat. We have a spacious indoor seating area onboard, as well as a toilet and sink. On the deck is a large unique table for up to 12 people which is covered by a canopy in case of rain. It also has twin engines for safety which are 500HP Volvos. Iain-Og can be used for wildlife and fishing trips, however it is best suited for our seafood and private charter trips.
Wavedancer is a 38 ft hard-topped boat, with outdoor seating and plenty of space outside for passengers to move around. There is also a comfy cabin area for those wanting to sit inside, as well as a toilet and sink onboard. The boat has twin 335HP engines for safety. This boat is great for wildlife and fishing trips, as well as commercial work, and travelling in comfort for longer distances.
This covered RIB allows for comfort and protection from the elements, whilst also being very capable of speed with its two 300HP Yamaha engines. It’s the perfect boat for private charters, longer journeys further afield or standard trips when the weather isn’t too great. There are 12 comfortable seats for passengers inside. Please note there are no toilet facilities onboard Storo.
Queen of the Hebrides, in honour of our home of Islay, is our newest boat. This 12.5 meter boat has three 300HP Yamaha engines for speed. But this boat is all about luxury and comfort. It has a large deck space with seating and a table as well as a spacious indoor area. Inside there is kitchen and bathroom facilities, a dining area with comfortable sofa seating. There is also suspension seats, excellent for those longer and bumpier journeys, and sleeping berths too. With other special features, you'll want to try this boat for yourself on private charters.
