Our sea-fishing trips provide a fun couple of hours out on the water. Whether you’re experienced at fishing or have never tried it before, this trip is a great way to see some of the coastline and catch some fish.
The trip includes all the equipment you will need, and you will be guided by experienced fisherman, who know the landscape, tides and reefs like the back of their hands. When out fishing with us you are likely to catch a variety of fish, such as mackerel, pollock, saith, cod or ling (season depending). You are then welcome to take your catch home and cook and enjoy later.
Our trips can take up to 12 passengers. We have 8 rods available at any one time to ensure a safe operation and prevent entanglements. Therefore, some guests in a group may share a rod during the trips duration. But don’t worry, all guests will get a good chance to catch some fish!
This trip is around 2-2.5 hours long and is suitable for children aged 8+. (If you have children under 8 wanting to join a fishing trip, please contact us directly).
Our fishing trips run Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout the summer, departing from Port Ellen Marina. However, weather conditions can become unsuitable, and we will keep you updated if we need to cancel/ rearrange a trip via text, phone call or email.
Please bring warm clothing as it can get chilly out on the water even if the sun is shining, please also bring something to take your catch home in.
